Kuala Selangor is a quiet, village-based small town with a strong kampung feel, located along the Selangor River and closer to Klang–Meru than to central Kuala Lumpur. It’s known for its slower pace of life, close-knit community, and deep historical roots.

This is a full-unit interior design project planned with a consistent design language throughout the entire home. The layout prioritizes spatial openness and functionality, with clear zoning between public and private areas to ensure comfortable daily living.

Custom-built carpentry is incorporated across the living area, dining space, bedrooms, and storage zones to maximize functionality while maintaining a clean and seamless appearance. Feature elements such as the marble TV backdrop, integrated cabinetry, and accent panels are designed to enhance visual depth without overpowering the space.

A neutral color palette of warm beige, soft taupe, and stone textures is paired with subtle metallic accents to elevate the overall look. Layered lighting—including concealed cove lighting, downlights, and feature lighting—is carefully planned across the entire unit to create a warm, hotel-like ambiance while supporting practical lighting needs.
